Part-time library assistant

The Prairie Skies Public Library is seeking applicants for a part-time job at the Library.   We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer focused person who is comfortable using computers and technology.   Duties include helping with adult and youth programs; handling interlibrary loan requests; manning the circulation desk and assisting patrons with computers, mobile devices and other equipment.

The person hired will work between 12 – 15 hours per week and be required to work some Saturdays and evenings. This person will be working at both the Ashland and Pleasant Plains location so must have transportation.   Other required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, familiarity with using computers and mobile devices, and knowledge of social media such as Facebook, Pinterest, etc.
