New: WIFI Hotspots
We now have WIFI hotspots available for checkout at both locations!
Letters from Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Reindeer have been sent out!
We worked with Frosty and Rudolph to send out over 30 letters! Let us know what your kiddos thought of them!
PSPLD has four Library Drop Boxes to return items:
1. Outside the entrance of the Ashland Library
2. Outside the entrance to the Pleasant Plains Library
3. Farmingdale Elementary
4. Gardner Township Building
Drop Boxes are available at all hours and when the Library is closed for a holiday.

Thanks to your generosity, the Friends of the Library was able to provide over 30 hats, gloves and socks to St. Augustine's Angel Packages, Helping Hands Food Pantry and New Beginnings Micro Pantry!


A time for seniors and caregivers to get out of the house and have some fun! 1st & 3rd Friday of each month in Plains from 11-11:45am.
New Programs
For Middle and High School students to learn coding, computers and much more! Held every other month on Saturdays in Plains.

A time for kids to explore and discover how music makes them think, feel and move. Held on the 2nd (in Ashland) and 4th (in Plains) Saturday of each month from 11-11:30am.
COVID-19 Guidelines: Updated 2/28/22
Beginning Monday, February 28th, 2022, patrons are no longer required to wear a mask while visiting either library location. Masks and hand sanitizer will continue to be available for patron use. Social distancing is recommended. Please stay home if you feel ill.
We will continue to offer Curbside Service and Contact-less home delivery.
